Yes we do, the best one I ever saw was the "Spaghetti" tree. The
tabloids here try to outdo each other every year, some of them are
obvious, some of them are quite good.

On a freecycle list, someone was offering a DVD rewinder, on April 1st.
Someone else was trying to give away a solar-powered flashlight - only
works in bright sunlight.
I wish I were clever enough to think up stuff like that.

My favorite of the British ones has to be the time, more than a few
years ago now, when it was announced that Big Ben would be going
digital. I can't remember if it was the BBC or The Times. It brought
howls of protest from those who had forgotten to keep an eye on their
calendar.
