Mere's mother Kira will be spayed today. She's had two litters of five kittens each. She is being very aggressive towards her son, Emil, who will be staying in the family, and I'm hoping the spaying will calm her down (so is my niece, her Meowmie). Apparently, in order for her to be a registered purebred, they would have had to know five generations of her forebears, but as it is, they only know four of her sire's forebears. <groan> My niece was misinformed before she had Kira serviced by the Estonian boycat, since for other breeds, four generations is enough.
