A leap into the unknown

This morning I was eating my breakfast muesli at my desk beside the
trusty 'puter downloading my favourite Newsgroup (rpca, what else) when
Snowball decided to join me. He leapt up as he normally does but didn't
notice that his landing spot was occupied by a (full) bowl and tray.

So he plonked himself down in my breakfast, which went Everywhere -
printer, scanner, papers, books, desk, floor - except for the keyboard
of my newish Laptop.
I'm still thanking Providence for that mercy. Everything else is
salvageable and has now been rescued.

So that's my lucky escape for the day, or maybe year.

Aw heck Gordon, that's nothing........I've got an 18mo. old toddler
(my grandson) in a house with white carpeting right now.  He's ALL
boy, and RUNS everywhere he goes.  And it's pretty obvious everywhere
he's been.

Thank goodness my kitchen floor is tiled, because after dying easter
eggs last weekend, one of the walls is now blue with a lovely
sprinkling of green, pink, and orange which I suppose would be okay if
the other three walls weren't white.

Looks like I'll be painting next weekend.

Glad to hear your computer equipment survived.

I hope I do.

LOL. Snowball Surprise! Once Clyde (RB) jumped directly into my plate
of fish. Of course, he cleaned it up faster than I did.

LOL.... Glad no expensive eqipment was damaged.  Funny image, though.
Reminds me of last week... Muscat had the zoomies & was doing loops around
the house, the back of the couch was the finnish line... I was lying on the
couch watching 'Finding Neverland'....  Muscat miscalculated his leap on one
loop & WHAM!!!  Slamed, full body into the side of my face.  Needless to
say, da hooman was not very impressed.  Muscat was kinda stunned & hid from
his growling, swearing hooman for a while.... When he came out, he had the
funniest look on his face... the 'am I in trouble?' look...  Good thing the
furballs are cute, I suspect we would be less tolerant hoomans if these
little creatures were but ugly.
