Okay, I'm used to having cats around always have had.  However, the
problem appears to be that it has been so long since I've been around a
PG cat, that I am not sure what to expect.  All my cats have been
"fixed"  when they were old enough (except Leonidas, TED is supposed to
call with the appointment date when they get the scheduling system up
and running).

Li'l Bit is either pregnant or faking it really, really well.  She was
taken in (yeah right) by a woman who lives near me, when she was 10
weeks old or so.  The twit buys one 5 pound bag of cheap cat food, puts
it all out at the beginning of the month, and the animals are left to
fend for themselves when it's gone (about two days).  This is the same
person who was arrested for starving a kitten to death (gee, think
she'll actually pay the fine that was her punishment?  I don't).  All
the kitties love me, the crazy cat hoomin what gives 'em food.

Li'l Bit has been coming around since November.  Now, she has this big
ole belly, and she was "in season" about 3 (maybe 4 now) weeks ago.  My
question...  Is it normal for her to growl, alot?

No one (human or furbaby) is around her, but as she lies down on the
back of the chair or sofa, she growls.  It's actually kind of cute
because she's pretty small aside from the belly.  She will also present
her belly to me for gentle rubs, she seems to like it, but only if *I*
do it, DH can't get anywhere near her tummy.

She isn't fighting with anyone, even Leonidas who is an un-neutered
tom.  She just growls.
