Tennessee is over his bout of stuffy-head, and is now back to being his
normal grumpy-butt.

Ping & Smokey are *almost* over it, but they still sneeze every once in a
while, and it's kinda hard to tell with Ping, since he's a snuffly kitty
anyway (snores a LOT when sleeping.  Smokey was pretty bad, wouldn't eat
unless it was gooshy food, and lost about a pound, so we bought some of the
small cans of kitten food.  She's gained it back now, and harked up a couple
of nasty-looking hairballs in the process.

Ernie caught it, but it seems to have manifested itself as conjunctivitis in
his *left* eye only.  I say Ping sneezed in his face (those two are aways
wrestling).  He has had a couple sniffles & sneezes, but his eye looked
horrible, the inner eyelid was all inflamed & his eye was very watery (makes
my eyes water to just describe it).  Took him to TED, and he said it could
be herpes (aaaaaaaaaaaack) or conjunctivitis.  TED said that the herpes test
is not very accurate, right around 50%.  He gave us terramycin (sp?)
ointment to put in his eye 3-4 times daily, that was a week ago today.  He
hates it, and if he sees me with that tube, he runs.  Poor boy. He jerked
once while I was applying it, and I though he'd poked his own eye out with
the nozzle of the tube.  I freaked, chased him down and checked his eye real
good.  *whew* no damage.  His eye is almost back to normal now.  Still some
redness on his eyelids, but 'no more tears'  (sorry, I couldn't resist
that).

Now Weeble is snuffly-sneezy, and feels kinda feverish!  I'm off to TED to
get a refill of 'the pink stuff'.  And Moe has sneezed some, but not like
she has a cold.  More like something bugged her.

I know that it's going to get around to *all* the kitties eventually - we
don't have enough rooms in the house to separate them all (and most of them
would hate it anyway, social critters that they are).

Anyway, that's the news from the Kitty Kovalescence Center ;)
