I made myself some jook, which is in essence rice porridge with
chicken.  I had a little bit of it in front of my on my desk and I'm
trying to write my lab report.

Mischief just jumps up and since I wasn't paying attention to her,
proceeded to lick up the rice and chicken.

"Hey!"  That got no response.  She just kept licking.
"Ahem, that's MINE!"  Still kept licking.

I finally tapped her on the head.  "Will you cut it out?"  She stopped,
licked her lips and then kept eating.  I had to take the bowl away.
the nerve....

Then Imp practically gave me a heart attack when I was folding laundry.
I picked up some underwear and clothes for my swim bag and tossed them
across the room.  As they landed with a soft thump a black shape
suddenly ran out.

"AHHH!!  Imp! I'm sorry, baby, did I scare you?"

Sheesh!!!!

And now I'm having a hard time typing this because someone is sitting
my desk obstrucitng my view.  

HMPH!
