C'mere, Mere, come home tonight with mere.  You are not a mere cat,
nor a meercat, but you are Mere cat. :)

Aww. Thank you, Tak! (I made that connection Mere cat - meercat, too.
Thought I might develop a new name out of it, but it hasn't come to me
yet.) Only a few hours left!

Is everything all set and prepared to receive the little one? :)

What do you think? ;o) Cupboard full of kitten food that I'm going to
try out on her, freezer full of small, one-portion packets of minced
meat (her preferred diet at the moment) and some frozen saithe (fish).
Calcium tablets to crush into her food in case she refuses to eat
anything but meat. Vitamin pills. Feliway diffuser refill. A t-shirt
that I've been wearing to bed the last couple of nights, laid in the
carrier, to transfer my smell to her while I bring her home.
Knick-knacks put away into cabinets. A bed of towels on the bathroom
floor in case I have to isolate her there, as well as a place for food
and water. The towels are used (but dry) too, so she'll be inundated
with my smell (poor cat ;).

introductions to your household.
