Grumpy guts

I've had Pandora for 4 1/2 years. In those 4 1/2 years, she's progressed
from being a mega fraidy feral who would run when I walked into the
room, to a semi confident madam who whilst very shy, will let me stroke
her whole body as long as I don't take too many liberties.

Recently, we've moved onto grooming, as Pandora is somewhat plump, and
the fur on her back gets greasy and dry. So... madam is on my bed. I got
hold of her with a little patience, and started brushing. She was lying
on my bed, I wasn't restraining her in any way shape or form, and she
could escape at any time.

So she starts growling as I start brushing. Just to prove the point that
the human has way to much front and audacity to touch the royal
purr-sonage. As I groom a scritch spot, the growling stops, and there's
a slight purr. Then there's a big gulp as she goes "Oh sh*t, I was
making out I hated this" and the growling starts up again.

Bless her. She thinks she's so tough and rough, LOL!

This cat could be related to Kitty Farmcat!  She is exactly the same.  On
the one hand she wants the attention and on the other hand she wants to say
"don't you dare touch me."
Yours isn't a tuxedo girl by any chance, is she?  Mine is and I've heard
that they are "pretty hard"  <g>

Pandora is somewhat plump now? I'd love to see her, for me she will always
be a dark shape under the bed. She's quite a character isn't she?

You're always very welcome to come and stay for the weekend, and see her
Royal plumpness for yourself. ;o)

I'm thinking around the time of a Cardiff manics concert maybe?
