Willow needed some blood drawn and was unable to have any taken yesterday or
last week due to "feline noncompliance".  Can't say I blame her.  She got
sedated today and some blood was drawn.  She got a buzz cut on her neck
where they needed an artery.  Anyways, the results should be ready by
tomorrow and hopefully all will be well.  She hasn't thrown up in over 24
hours, but we will be doing trial diets to find some food that she isn't
allergic to.

Please keep up in mind:(  I want my kitty to be okay.

Many good wishes and purrs for Willow to be feeling better soon and for you
to find out the cause of her allergies.

Best of luck to Willow!

Purrs must work.  Her blood tests came back completely normal :)  The vet
mentioned an elevated blood cell or something or other that indicated
allergies, which she had mentioned earlier.  So now we pick up our food...we
are trying Hill's z/d.  The protien is split up, so it isn't recognized in
digestion.  Cool, huh?

thank you all for your support and purrs!!:)

Perhaps an elevated percentage of eosinophils, or an increased total
eosinophil count? That indeed can be due to allergies, but also can be
due to parasites.

She didn't mention eosinophil...parasites?  Crud...my cat doesn't go out and
got her annual de worming pill.  What parasite could she have gotten?

I've noticed what look like worms on Rhonda, who has NEVER been outside
since she was adopted. One vet speculated that indoor cats may get worms
from mice. I haven't seen any evidence of mice, but anything is possible.

For the record, I do think Rhonda has mousing instincts. In the kitchen
one day, I dropped a roughly mouse-shaped object with a tail, and she
promptly attacked it, even though it bit her back several times.

Mightily batting it with her paws, the jalapeno eventually escaped under
the refrigerator, presumably to die there.

Do they look like little grains of rice?  If so, cats get them from eating
fleas.  Fleas can get into your house on *you*!

Purrs coming that Willow's test results will be normal and that you can find
a diet she can tolerate without vomiting!

Of course! Purrs that it sheds some light on Willow's illness. Hang

Thanks all!  She seems to be in a pretty good mood and has been wrecking
areas of the house.  So that is good :)
