I got a bottle of soda on the way home. One of those weird plastic
things. I left it near Harvey's perch while I dealt with the spoiled
dog's latest demands.

I come back to find Harvey carefully licking the condesation off the
side of the bottle. Crazy cat. (Yes, he had water in the bowl)

But it's not as fun.

Harvey is wonderfully weird. ;)

Some cats have a really funny relationship w/water. LOL. Both of mine
do. Daisy splashes in her bowl, & Moxie won't drink out of a bowl on
the floor. She has to have a glass on the counter or a bowl in the
sink.

Hmmm. I replied to this hours ago. Let's try again.

A lot of cats seem to have a weird relationship w/water. Both of mine
do. Daisy splashes in hers, & Moxie will only drink out of a glass, or
a bowl in a sink.

A thousand pardons. Google didn't show it to me.

exactly. I keep a bowl of fresh water for the cats out on the island,
but they never drink from it. They prefer the potholes with rainwater.
My sister once said it's because it's WILD WATER. Much better than tame
ole water in a bowl. Sometimes they even drink from the sea. My mother
once had a bucket of sea water and a bucket of rain water on her porch.
We found Frank happily drinking of the sea water, even though the sweet
rain water was standing right beside it.
