Four Cheetah cubs were born at the National Zoo in Washington, DC USA on
November 23 2004. Just recently they were put on display for the public
for a couple of hours every day with their Mother. We live not far from
the zoo and went down to see them. Adorable doesn't even begin to
describe them! Steve got some pictures that I thought you might enjoy.

I was thinking that too! In one shot it looks like the hair on the head was
"gelled" :)

Thanks for showing the great pictures. MLB

Really great pictures. One of the big things I miss from my home town is
the zoo. We must have gone 15 times a year when I was small. My parents
used to joke I grew up with Smokey the Bear as he arrived when I was small.

Aww! They look like a lot of fun. So cute. Poor mother, she does look
long-suffering. Reminds me of Kira with her kittens.

I'm out in DC next month, and a couple of us Catslaves/RPCA-ers are
hooking up. Fancy joining us? Same goes for anyone in the area!

I'd love to! What dates will you be here? I am scheduled to go back to
NC for a little while in April and we have family coming but if I am
free I'd like to.

Well as of tonight, dates are a little bit up in the air because my dad
has to go to Ottawa on business and I might have to cancel hockey camp
because I've torn a ligament in my knee...so, either week beginning 15
April until 23rd April, OR 23rd April - 7th May (depends if I go to
hockey camp).
So far, we have have 4 or 5 catslaves around. :o)

Where at in NC? Maybe we can get some of us together and have a
meeting. I think there are three or four of us around here somewhere.

I'll be in Cary which I know isn't too far from you. I can't get
together this time though :-( but next time I come down I'll ask and
see if anyone can get together. We used to live in Cary and my husband
still goes down every so often for work and so we can see friends.
