Aww.  Kitty FC is so comfy in her bed in front of the fire in the kitchen
that I can hear her contented snores from the next room.
I'd like to go and cuddle her, it melts me hearing her make those snuggly
noises.
It's not wise to do that cos she will wake up and slash. Poor KFC that she
doesn't entirely trust me after all these years.
I am now sneaking into the kitchen to snuggle her tummy...or try to anyway!
Gulp.

Awwww, how sweet.  Tuppence does that, and it just makes me wanna
scrunch her up.

Can't do it though because when she gets to *that* place in sleep, it
makes her yelp/yowl to even touch her (seems to scare her so bad), that
I feel horrible for having awakened her that way.

Smokie Darling (Annie) - hoping the slash doesn't happen.

Well, I did it.  I sat on the rug beside her, first I stroked her cheeks and
she purred up a storm. Then I lowered my head towards her and she gave me a
head butt.  I stroked her back and she got up and did elevator butt.  She
laid down again and I thought she might let me stroke her tummy.  I stroked
it.  Huge growls.  I touched her back foot, huge growls again.  So she is
cross and I don't have a clue why.
Good news is,  didn't get slashed - hooray!

Well, with some girls (and guys) you just don't touch the tummy. Pearl is
like that too.

Ah, well, I crept into the kitchen to watch her.  Such lovely "I am off the
planet" noises, just so comfy.  I wanted to snuggle my face right into her
tummy fur, but there is no chance whatsoever that she would ever let me do
this, so I just watched.  Melting and wanting desperately for her to let me.

Didn't, because it was *too risky"  to try ;-)

Persia ate her gooshy food (a Saturday treat) and purred so loud I thought
for a minute something was wrong with her!  Nope, she was just so happy and
content she was purring more loudly than usual.  I didn't want to disturb
her, no matter how tempting that fluffy belly is :)  But oh my gosh I wanted
to snuggle against her!

Oh, and I made corned beef & cabbage tonight (it's still cooking) - a tad
late for St. Patrick's.  I gave Peaches a cabbage leaf and she LOVED it!

I love it when my 'kids' are happy!

I chickened out, Suz, so my hands are okay.  I really wanted to snuggle her
but I decided I needed my hands and face so just admired her from afar.
Aww, she looked so snuggly and sleepy I just wanted a cuddle with her, I
love that sleepy smell they have.
Sometimes Kitty is OK with the petting, but often she is not.  This was a
serious bury the head in the tummy moment and I decided not to do it.  I had
to hold myself back.  I think I was wise on this occasion ;-)

Thanks, Suz, but my hands are OK!  I went into the kitchen with the
intention of snuggling my face into her lovely sleepy warm tummy - you will
all know what I mean when that feeling comes over you - and she woke up.
That's when I chickened out..
I ain't daft ;-)
