Update: Sam purrs

Thank you all for the purrs for Sam. I had asked our Vet to take chest
x-rays so that we can see if there is any improvement in his lungs since
the January crisis. She just called and said there isn't a lot of
improvement and she wants to start him on amoxicillan and hold off on
the dental until we can get some of this inflammation under control.
She's also doing blood work to compare with his January blood work.  So,
Sam is now enjoying a late breakfast and will hang out with the vet for
a few days being medicated.  He'll come home with additional antibiotics.

Marina, you asked about Sam's stuffed mouse...it's actually more like a
wharf rat, lol. It's huge. The vet gave it to him when we boarded him
last September just before we brought him inside. It was probably the
first toy he'd every had in his life.

Awwww. So sorry he has not improved a lot. Please keep us posted. I hope he
does well with his hospital stay.
