Persia frequently walks in front of me, glances back to make sure I'm still
there, then literally falls over on her side. She rolls over, belly up,
asking for tummy rubs! She did not used to do this. She'd tolerate tummy
(actually chest) rubs if I found her on her back. Now it seems she's taken
to asking for them :) It reminds me of how a dog will roll over and beg for
belly rubs. It's too cute :) I love Persia!

Awww. Grant used to do this. Just literally fall over. He didn't want tummy
rubs (ticklish) but he did want skritchins when that happened.

Oscar does this. It's a trap, though, meant to lure the unwary. When her
belly's showing, she feels very threatened by human hands. Confusing critter!

> Your Oscar often sounds a lot like my Miss Moxie, who I sometimes
call Grouchy. If she's in "her" room, & she falls on her side, it's an
invitaion to be bitten & scratched. With her, it just means she's
excited to have me in her room. LOL

Awwww, I'm still so very sorry you lost Grant.
It's cute when they just appear to collapse, like their legs suddenly have
no bones. (I'm not totally convinced cats have bones LOL) Persia is
ticklish right under her front paw 'pits' so I just rub her chest to about
the middle of her tummy. Any further than that and she starts with the
bunny-kicks.

I've been convinced for some time that cats are fluid, not solid. :-)
Felix *loves* tummy rubs. He'll ask for them, even, and is fine with
me burying my face in ultra-soft tummy fur (he's a longish-hair).

Aw....:) That's Tripper. He'll flop over so hard it sometimes makes
him grunt, but he's blinking and purring all the time he's doing it.
Just gotta love the fur faces, dontcha...:)

Little Bit does this too. Like Persia, she didn't really no what to
think of the idea at first, now she loves tummy rubs. Not sure if
Sammy will ever slow down enough to enjoy them. If she happens to fall
asleep on me I can give her a tummy rub, and she'll purr like crazy.
But, as soon as she wakes enough to realise what's going on she rolls
over and wants to play.

not possible. ;-)
