Yeah, there have been a few postings that have to do with kittens, and
I click on them, but even though they are wonderful stories about cute
kittens, there's nothing about SONYA!!!
AUGH!!!

Yeah, gee whiz, Pam. If there's no news, let us know to ease our
suspense. If there's good news, let us know so we can celebrate. If
there's bad news, tell us so we can mourn. Please, PLEASE give us
something to go on before we all go crazy!!! Thanks. Many purrs
still coming that there's good news soonest.

I'm really beginning to worry not just about the kittens but if something

I think at least Yowie has it, but probably someone who lives closer to
the Shirks has it too. Seriously Pam, we are getting worried here. But
maybe it's the computer that's not cooperating.

That thought occurred to me too. At first it seemed funny -- waiting for
labor to begin (been there, done that) -- now it is not. I hope a close
friend will call them. Still purring for healthy kittens and wellbeing
for all, MLB

I have her phone number at home. I thought I had it on my cell phone but
it appears I do not. I'll see if I can reach her tonight.

People, I wish they were here. Like an idiot, I listened to Jim declare
her in labor, then announced it without checking first. The first stage
of feline labor has the mum to be panting and purring at the same time.
As I later told Jim, panting is more involved than just breathing, and
the purring part doesn't just happen when being petted.
Sonya has since visited TED, who says that she's still fine and they
should be born at any time. SIGH.
I was going to post this right away, but I found myself thinking, what
if people think I'm doing a Holly? What if they doubt that Sonya even
exists? What if I snap back and say something hateful in my pain and
embarrassment, and harm people's feelings? So I put it off until Monday.
Monday I worked. I came home and Mike needed to be online. So I
figured, wait until Tuesday, it will be ok. Did I ever mention that I
have severe mold spore allergies, arthritis, and that weather changes
from minute to minute here in North Carolina in the spring? Tuesday and
Wednesday I was sicker than anyone had a right to be.
Thursday, Julie Cook called me. I told her my problems with posting and
she jollied me out of it to the point that I was going to go online.
Then I looked at the time, and went to bed instead.
Sonya is still intact. She has not exploded into kittens. I've been
coming up with ways to hurry the process along. Mandy has become
progressively more disgusted with them. I have even showed Sonya
pictures of cute kittens. I think she turned a little green around the
gills. She still hasn't given birth yet.
My sense of humor is wearing a little thin. I need a dose of
something... syrup of IfIlaugh? Sonya could use some poop them kitten
out vibes. Mandy needs some no mom isn't insane, much, thoughts. Rob
needs a break.

Never! We know you Pam, and we all know you wouldn't do anything like
that!!! In fact *YOU* were the one I was most worried about when Holly
pulled her stunt because you were the one it hit closest to home with. We
never doubted what you said, I think some people just got kitten fever to
the degree that it made them impatient (and there was some speculation that
it could have been a false pregnancy among those who didn't read that the
vet had heard heartbeats - but *never* specuation that you were being
anything but honest).

I know how that is - the tree pollen count here has been sky high and both
DH and I have been suffering mightily!

I know how you feel. I'm at the breaking point myself with all that I've
been going through with Bandit. Just when I think it may be over, it just
keeps getting worse and worse. My heart is breaking for her and my nerves
are shot. In the last 5 days I've... 1) dropped a whole pint of half and
half on my newly stripped/waxed kitchen floor Sunday night 2) dropped a
glass in the sink and shattered it on Tuesday night, 3) dropped Bandit's
Amoxicillin and dumped out about half of it on my bathroom floor Thursday
night, and 4) dropped and shattered a saucer this afternoon and cut my
finger all the h*ll and back. My hands are shaking that badly!!!
We're here to offer you love and support, not suspicion or censure. We are
all some of us have got and we've got to stick together (who else is going
love and support us crazy cat people??!!!)
Hugs,
CatNipped

As I said before, Pam, none of us could think you were doing anything
dishonest. At least not us 'oldies' who have known you for years. Lots
of purrs, good vibes, meatloaf meditations, crossed whiskers and
anything else you all need is on the way. Hope you feel better, and hope
those kittens make an appearance soon. Hugs all around.

I hear that spicy foods can work on humans ... does she like spicy stuff?
Just kidding, sort of. Well, check with the vet first, anyway.

I am sure we all tend to refer back to personal experiences when we hear
of other peoples problems. We all are waiting and hoping that all goes
well. Purrs and good wishes for mother and babies and meomie to be OK.

Glad to hear she's doing fine - though fit to explode. Let us know

Yep, BTDT - meant to post something, put it off til tomorrow, and
suddenly a week has gone by and still haven't posted. Have to admit
you had us worried, though. Glad to hear everything is alright there,
well as alreight as it came be when you're battling allergies,
arthristis and weather changes.
