Hi all:
It seems that Archie is feeling better. TED was loathe to do eye surgery
since it is so complex a system in there. Archie still has his eye, which
is still infected, though healing ok. Kate doesn't think that Archie can
see from it though.
In any case, the immediate crisis is passed and Archie continues to plug
along.
Thank you for all your good wishes,
Susan M

Oh, my. I remember Archie. Poor Archie! Rowdy's left eye is blind from a
kittenhood cruelty done to him. He leads a spoiled-rotten, comfy life here,
bullying Maluce, his elder-lady cat family, and grazing all day @ the food
bowl, which is never empty (he is HUGE). Right now he's basking in sun
pouring in south window, on HIS chaise longue. When Archie recovers and his
eye doesn't hurt anymore, am sure he will be happy even if he can't see out
of it at all, as long as he has you and his familiar
life. Best to Archie "plugging along".

Poor Archie. I just hope the infection improves. Blindness is copable.

I must have missed this the first time around (I'm so behind on reading
rpca). We will be purring retroactively for Arthur's eye.

Thanks Marina. This is the cat that was missing for two weeks in -24 C
weather. He lost his ear tips and suffered eye damage. He's an indoor cat
usually. Anyway, his eye has been touch and go since and last week the
ulcer over the eye was punctured and it became infected. Ugh.
