We have got 2 little Burmese kittens from Lois
A cream lilac boy called Simba & a choclate point boy called Timmy.
They are just so cute.
They have the run of the house & scamper from room to room leaving a
trail of destruction. Table cloths pulled off tables, the newspaper a
shredded heap, pot plants tipped over, the potting mix played in &
scattered everywhere.
They have investigated every open cupboard, they had a great time in
the linen cupboard burrowing among the sheets & blankets.
Poor little Simba took a swim in the toilet yesterday, Husband who was
lying on the bed with a miagraine headache got a wet kitten on his
chest. I could hear the screaming "Come & take this kitten away".
Its a sigh of relief when they are asleep.

They sound as cute as a couple of little bugs. LOL. I haven't had
kittens in 23 years, so I forget what it's like. :)

Poor Graham, a wet kitten from the toilet on his head, lol and him with
a migraine. I did tell you to keep the toilet door closed, hehe. Lois
and I have been dying to hear how things are going with new addition
Timmy. What did Graham say when he discovered the kitten population had
expanded to two?

Cats aren't clean, they're just covered with cat spit.

lol Rosemary, did Simba welcome Timmy with open paws?
I was wondering how things were going.
How has Timmy settled in? I do miss him.
Ken was a bit worried about Samantha when he did his *tearful* act at Timmy
leaving home - was a bit like when your kids leave home to go flatting!!!!
Don't forget to leave the toilet lid down!!!!!
Good luck with your new babies.

What beautiful cats! Their names are really cool. How do you come up with
names for these furbabies? I've always been intrigued with that.

The kittens I sell I like to get the new owners to name their kitten that
way I can put it on the pedigree paper, sometimes it is worse than trying to
find the right bare baby name!!
With my own cats I do put a lot of thought into their names and try to get a
name that suits the purrsonality of the particular cat.

roflol! Welcome to the group Rosemary. After reading (and enjoying very
much) your story, I'm making a mental note to myself - never, ever,
adopt a kitten from Lois. Her Burmese are a special breed ;)

As in sometimes they are even worse?
Once upon a time we would have been delighted with Burmese cats. Now we
feel lucky to keep up with our fairly laid back Siamese.
Old age is the pits.

So Burmese come with extra badness? I think I'll pass. Four kitties
produce plenty of badness on their own, especially with two (eternal)
kittens, a former feral with a trailer-park attitude, and Lucifer in a
dainty fur coat.

I currently have 12 babies aged 6? weeks (two litters) they are out in the
*kitten nursery* (next to the lounge) with their mothers Freya and Gigi, I
can keep an eye on them through the window and sliding door, they do take a
bit of keeping up with, keeping food bowls full and toilet trays clean. At
least twice a day, sometimes more I let them in to the main part of the
house (but not up the stairs) they love to investigate, when it is time to
round them up to put them away I have to count them as I put them through
the door to make sure I have them all. Sometimes they wear me out but when
one or more of them curls up on my lap and gives me that loving look I am
hooked all over again.
