Clyde just chased Deo around the house and the pair had the cat fight to
end all cat fights in the driveway.   They made the mistake of having it
by the hose.  I didn't need telling twice.   I turned it on full bore,
hehe.   It sure was a diversion but not a long term one.   Deo ran and
Clyde ran after him and they rolled all the way down the drive, bits of
hair everywhere.   When it was over I found Clyde coughing pathetically
in the kitchen.  He finally brought  up a big mouthful of Deo's hair!
Ah, revenge is sweet.

Cats aren't clean, they're just covered with cat spit.

Way to go Clyde!

When Bonnie and Clyde were kittens, I was wishing that Deo's humans would
try to schedule his outdoor times when Bonnie and Clyde were NOT outside,
since he was beating up on them.

Now I wish they'd keep him indoors when B&C are outside, because DEO'S the
one who'll get his backside handed to him.

I'm glad Clyde is getting the upper hand -- er, paw -- but I feel sorry
for Deo. His humans could make his life a WHOLE lot easier. (That goes
double for if he's an intact tomcat; maybe if he were neutered, he'd be
less inclined to fight with other cats, period.)

Here's hoping that all the cats strike a truce.

Clyde is a neuter who spends all his time asking for trouble.
He has damaged every cat in the street and incurred numerous TED
bills!   I don't like the old boy being hammered either but can't help
thinking he has asked for it :)

Poor Clyde, no wonder he's spraying.

The trouble with cat fights -- win or lose  - they are apt to develop
abscesses from the scratches.   Before penicillin, our Ginger developed a
huge abscess on his face.  The Vet drained it, but it would not heal and
we had to let the cat "go".  MLB

That was exactly my thought. A cat fight is also the best way to catch
FIP or FeLV or probably a host of other communicable diseases.
Abscesses can be horrible. It makes me nervous to read about this. I
truly hope they get separated for good before a real tragedy happens.
