Here are some pictures of the second burn on Bandit's back (gross warning).
It looks worse than this morning when the hair fell out.  I don't know if I
made it worse by washing the Silvadine off twice - I decided to leave it
alone until I can get to the vet, now I don't know if I need to take her to
the ER - I just don't have the $250.00 again for the second time in a week -
and my charge card is in a safety deposit box where I can't get to it!  I am
freaking out again, but I don't know what to do!  Do you think I should take
her anyway and just write a hot check, or do you think it can wait until
tomorrow morning?  She is still eating and drinking and moving around OK.

If you put the Silvadene cream on and LEAVE it on, then it should be
okay until tomorrow.

Take a deep breath and I hope that helps

Oh man. I would guess it's going to be OK for tonight but jeez that is HUGE.
Doesn't look infected though so that is good. I can't wait to hear what the
vet has to say regarding this.

Oh, Lori, you must be worried sick.  I agree with everyone else that it
can probably wait until the vet's office opens, but I also know how
hard that can be.  Try to get some rest so you can think clearly when
you go in tomorrow, and we're sending comforting healing purrs for both
of you.

I can honestly say, that regarding the vet, I personally would now be
looking for blood. There is NO EXCUSE for this, and I'd be VERY
interested in the explaination.

Hugs to you and Bandit.

OUCH :o( , Poor Bandit!

Belated get-well purrs are on the way, as I try mightily to play catchup
on the newsgroup posts.

Poor sweet baby.  I know how worried you are.  If the vet caused this I sure
hope they treat Bandit for nada, zip, zilch.

Owwwie!  I feel so sorry for poor Bandit!  Hopefully, it's
superficial.  I've had scraped knees that looked almost as bad when it
was at the point where it was already beginning to heal nicely, so
that's hopefully the case here.  We're sending purrs for you and
Bandit.
