Hi Folks,

If all goes well, I'll just be gone a few hours, but my system needs
to be re-booted half a dozen times a day.  There's some unknown app
running in the background and messing up my system.  My virus
definitions won't update because of some unknown problem in Windows.

In short, it's time to reformat the old hard drive!  I'm a big-time
shareware and freeware collector, plus I had about twenty gigs of
images on my drive.  It's all saved on CD's that have been tested on
my companion drive, so here goes.

Any and all purrs will be appreciated!  Hopefully, they won't be
needed, but you never know.

See you soon (he said with his fingers crossed!).

Regards and Purrs,
O J

Oooh, best of luck.  I've had to do that before with my old computer
and it took me about 6 months to work up the courage.  But I finally
did it and my computer ran so much better, I didn't even think about
getting a new computer for another year after that.  I'm sure
everything will work out fine.

I hope all went well (I'm assuming the deed is done by now). Retroactive
purrs.

External hard drives are cheap and easily available these days. I find
them very usefull for backups and downloads.
