Oh cool! (It's just getting SSOOOO interesting with how everyone is connected.) Were the numbers in the last episode (Hurley's ep, I swear the best yet) on that thing Boone and Locke were digging up in the jungle?
I loved it when the battery's ran out on the CD player the ep before. I kept thinking since this started "I wonder how long those batteries will last" but I didn't expect such attention to details as for that to happen! The writing on this show is SO good.

Did it suddenly become the 1980's?? Its a new series set a few generations later than the original series. The Cylons now look human. Their civilisation has been destroyed, and htey are on the search for the mythical planet called "Earth".

I had the same thought about the batteries. Yes, the writing is good. There are so many unexplained things, and I can see at least a couple of ways it could go. I wonder if the writers have decided on the explanations, or if they're waiting to judge audience reaction before choosing between the supernatural, space aliens or some other explanation?

We love LOST, but our viewing has been spotty, at best. All those real life things getting in the way.

Marion - 07 Mar 2005 19:37 GMT I wouldn't miss it for anything! I'm so intrigued by the personalities and the complex web of their histories. Oh -- and the understated little magic bits --like Boone (is that his name?) standing up from his wheelchair after the crash, and becoming the man he dreamed of being. It's so original. I'm finding that I enjoy Lost and Desperate Housewives (when it's on -- it seems to disappear periodically) so much that I'm less interested in anything else that's on TV! Marion
Karen - 07 Mar 2005 21:57 GMT I find it immensely fascinating how we are starting to see these little hints of personal connections.

Does that ring any bells?

CATherine - 08 Mar 2005 16:17 GMT >If not, I won't post more, but just wondering something. Oh, yes!! We wouldn't miss it. And I agree about the writing and the way the show unfolds and the mystery of it all. The dynamics between the people shift all the time and we find something to love and hate in each one. And we watch them grow and change. Sometimes Locke is portrayed as almost diabolical; but is really a very smart and caring person. And Sayid is sexy as hell!
