I noticed that when I went to check it.  Here's hoping this one does,
if not, I'll try to link to the original post in CP.

There is something SOOOOOOOO funny about that pic! It's like Yoda and the
young Jedi or something. Both disguised. Yoda is a cat and young Luke is a
Shirley Temple look alike.

I think they're like ET and Drew Barrymore. :)

It's a Sphynx!  We've talked about Sphynxes before.  They look-- well,
weird.  But they have the most amazing personalities.

LOL the girl has more "fur" than the cat.

Awww, a Mr. Bigglesworth kitty!

What's that breed called again? A Sphynx? I'd love to see one of those
cats in person.

I wonder if they're a breed that would be OK for people with allergies or
asthma to have?

Depends on the allergy.  They still have dander, so if it is a dander
allergy, no.  If it is a hair allergy (like my DH has) then, yes.

Yes, they're supposed to be "hypoallergenic"  (But last time
I checked, VERY pricey - they're still fairly rare.)  I've
read that the "rex" cats are good for people with allergies,
too - that tight, curly fur is doesn't shed.

I saw some at a cat show a couple of years ago. I don't regularly go
to cat shows, but not because I have anything against them, it's just
all the cat testosterone in the air that's rather err, fragrant. ;)

I love Sphynx!  He looks like Peaches - one of my favorites when I
worked at the cat hospital. :)

A Sphynx, isn't it?  I'd love to have one, but they're
awfully expensive. (They're so odd looking they're cute, IMO.)

Ah...yes, my young Padawan learner.  Hair I do not have, mmm?  But wisdom.

That cat reminds me of the Friends episode where Rachel buys one of these
hairless wonders and when it meows it "says" her name.

Try this one, it worked when I tried it (again).  Some days I should
just stay hidden under the sheets, don't ya think?

Yup - this one worked.

My first impression : now I know I *never* want to shave any of my cats!
Pathetic looking when naked IMHO.

Second impression:  the Shar Pei of cats ;)

You know, my Tuppence is FIV positive and has been for years.  She no
longer grooms herself, and "Meowmie" has to bathe her with a wet
washcloth every day.  She still gets the worst knots (during shedding
season), so once a year, she is shaved (early summer, since she doesn't
like it "hot").

She looks alot like that cat (except cuter).  Except she has fur on her
head and tail.  It's actually kind of funny (but don't laugh at her,
she has ways of getting back at anyone who laughs at her).  I'll have
to get some pictures this year when we do it.

I know it's a Sphinx, but could it really be an Alien from Outer Space?

Sadly for those allergic people, I have read that the lack of hair
does nothing to stop the production of dead skin, skin oil, dander,
and other allergens.

I think Sphynxes look awesome, myself, but couldn't bring myself to
buy an exotic breed when there are so many desperate mixedbreed
refugee kitties in the world.

Yep, that link somehow added a dash "-" that shouldn't be there.

A lovely outcome of selective breeding.
