CatNipped - 05 Mar 2005 16:04 GMT Just realized, you might want to call your links something other than what I've called them. If so, please let me know and I'll change the description of the link.

LOL! Sorry to laugh, but I thought that was too cute! It's because it has been "visited" (you've been to your own site and your computer knows that). If you click on one of the other links and then go back to the page you'll see it's dark now too.

I guess I have visited my own album recently ;-) I don't tend to visit very often, so I forget about that. Funny though because I've visited most of the other links too but I guess not recently enough. -- Britta "There is no snooze button on a cat who wants breakfast." -- Unknown Check out pictures of Vino at: http://photos.yahoo.com/badwilson click on the Vino album

You can program it to change the shade when it's been visited; most web programmers do this (Lori included) so you know you've already been there if you have a lot of links to choose from in a browser.

I hate it when I have a page with dozens of links I want to visit but I keep clicking on the same links because I forgot where I left off! I also like to open new browser window when I'm directing people to another web site so they don't have to keep hitting the "back" arrow to get back to where they started. It's just another little way to make browsing a little easier and user friendly.

I just right-click a link, then choose "Open in New Tab". :-)

Of course, that means you need a three-button mouse ...

I have a two-button optical with that stupid little wheel [DH insisted]. I like the optical (doesn't get gunked up with cat hair and etc.), but that stupid little wheel just gets in my way.

I actually use an optical, cordless trackball. I like how easy it is to clean when it gets gunked up, and it doesn't hurt my wrist the way mice inevitably do. It also has roughly 4,000 buttons, of which I only use three.
I will only use the trackballs that allow you to roll the ball with your index finger, though, and those seem to be the rarer form.
