Oops, I realized I forgot to tell her story. Special Delivery was found
half-frozen by a UPS driver, hence, the name. She was warmed up, and then
came down with a horrible URI. We nursed her through that and she got more
and more energetic. Just as we were about to declare her ready for
adoption, she came down with a mysterious hair loss. Our shelter just
recovered from a bout of ringworm, so of course we went on High RW Alert and
she had to be caged in the office, away from the other cats. Her culture is
negative so far (it's been 3 weeks) but they want to go an extra week to be
sure. Her hair is already grown back for the most part. Poor SD *hates*
being in a cage. She has the most pitiful cry. She is going to make
someone very happy. Please purr that her culture stays negative! If it is,
she will be spayed next week and then available for adoption :)

What a wonderful story! It's always heartbreaking to hear about a cat
that's been found frozen, and she's one of the lucky ones. Purrs for
her ringworm.
