Hi all:
You all probably remember the power of purr that brought Archie back to my
daughter's teacher after he was lost in two weeks of -24 C weather. He lost
his ear tips and had some eye issues afterwards but has been reborn and
happy to be alive and home.
Today, Kate, my daughter's teacher, was very upset because the ulcer that
had formed over Archie's eyeball had somehow become punctured during the day
two days ago. Archie spent a day at the vet yesterday and, if it doesn't
heal ASAP, they're going to have to do some kind of surgery. Kate wasn't
sure what kind of surgery it might be.
Kate is beside herself with worry about Archie and he's gone through so much
lately. She had thought that the whole ordeal was over and that they would
live happily ever after. Any spare thoughts or purrs for him would be
greatly appreciated. I'd like to see the little guy heal on his own without
invasive eye surgery.
Thank you.

Poor Archie. Major eye healing purrs. I'm sure that even if they have to
remove it he will do fine. He sounds like a survivor, but he sure has had a
hard time lately. Please keep us posted.

Tons of purrs are forthcoming so Archie can make a swift recovery, with
minimal human intervention required. Poor little guy.

Yes, we remember Archie very well. Poor fellow, he's really had a
time of it. A batch of purrs, doggy-wag, and special good wishes that
all goes well for him and that his eye heals quickly.

Purrs and prayers for poor Archie. Although these kitties are very
resilient. I mean, just look at Waffles, Franki's girlfriend, she lost an
eye to a horrible accident and still rules the roost at her home today. So,
keep faith with the vets, I'm sure they will do their best for the little
one. But we will still purr and pray for him.

Poor Archie, it sounds like he may lose his eye. Purrs that he is
without pain and is soon able to put all his troubles behind him.

Poor little man! You'd think he'd been through enough. Here's hoping
and purring that no surgery is needed.
