Yes, we've all experienced this. Some more (cats) than others.
I just changed the sheets. Persia didn't come charging in until I went to
put the top-sheet on. I was still trying to figure out which way is UP and
flipping the sheet out in all directions looking for the top. She dove
right in to help me by digging a small pile in the middle of the sheet :) I
finally figured it out and flipped it the right direction.
Of course she immediately dove under the sheet and started swatting at my
hand. I engaged in some play-time with her, touching her on her head.
She'd squeak and bat at my hand and play-bite me. As I was pulling on the
pillow cases from either side of the bed, she heard the sound and crept
towards that side - BAP at the pillow. I bapped back at her and again the
squeaking sound and the swatting and play-biting. After I got the pillow
cases on she scooted out from under the sheet, looking wild-eyed, and zoomed
off into the living room. Major case of the zoomies ensued and I chased her
around for a few minutes before I put the other sheets and the blanket in
the washing machine :)

I can't say I ever had a "good time" making the bed until Persia came into
my life. She's such a joy! :)

I don't get any help from my current crew. Clyde used to meatloaf in
the middle of the bed while I was making it.

Gnarly loved doing just this. She liked me to "get" her through the top
sheet, so I had this lump in the sheet that snarled and growled and bit
me thought the sheet. It was hilarious! Persia sounds even funnier.

Darn! I forgot about the evil bed greeblings! I feel so very safe now that
she got them all out of there :) In fact, even after I left the room she
charged back in there several times, probably to make sure none of them
snuck back in :o)

That, and clean sheets bring washer and dryer greeblings with them. =o)
Francesca and Nina were devotedly helping me change the sheets on my
bed this morning. Putting on the clean sheets was a rather long
process. Francesca threw herself into her protective duties with such
ardor, that as I was tucking the top sheet in at the bottom of the
bed, She tried to chase the sheet in between the mattress and box
spring. Then she thought better of it, as maybe the mattress might get
a little heavy, after a while. <G>
