I'm curious to how to help out the homeless who have pets, do they
accept animal food and is it safe to donate pets to the homeless. (for

Check with local vets for organizations that provide food and medicines for
elderly, low income,, and in some cities (San Fran is one I believe I have
seen this in), homeless people with pets. You can donate to them and they
will disperse help where needed.

We heard you, dear. ;)

Personally, I would not give or "donate" a pet to a homeless person,
but there are many homeless people who already have pets.  Why would
they not accept animal food if given them?

I wouldn't give a pet to someone I thought was unable to care for it.

Click on the picture (and, if your musical taste is like mine, turn off
the music), then choose "Creature Comforts Street Life With Man's Best
Friend"

I think it'll only be up for another day or two, and it isn't really an in
depth treatment of the subject (no cats, to begin with!) but it's
interesting.

I've seen homeless people w/pets, who certainly accept pet food. It's a
good idea to donate pet food, or food for the person, rather than
money. That way, you know the person is getting something he needs.
