I talked to BlueBird

Some of you probably remember BlueBird and LittleBit.  I'm sorry to say
LittleBit has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.  BlueBird was very ill for a
while, but is somewhat better now, considering all her medical problems.

She didn't want another cat, but a friend insisted on lending her cat to BB
for a couple of weeks.  That convinced her, and she visited a rescue group
and found Shadow, a pure black 8-month-old female.

Please give Bluebird our condolences re Little Bit.  It sounds like Bluebird
has a wonderful friend who helped her when she needed it most.  Tell
Bluebird we hope to hear more about little Shadow when possible.  Meanwhile,
please give Bluebird our best purrs and purrayers.
Thanks, Joy, for keeping us posted.

I'm glad to hear that BlueBird is doing better, and very sorry to hear
about LittleBit. I'd wondered how they were faring, since there hadn't
been an update recently.

I'm happy to hear that BlueBird has adopted Shadow, though. A young
furball like her will DEFINITELY be a mood and morale lifter, not to
mention a loyal companion.

Please give them my best.

Glad to hear BlueBird is doing better, but I am so sorry about

Glad to hear BlueBird is doing better. Sad about LittleBit but I think the
time BB had her has been good for both of them. I hope things go well with
the new kitty.

What a mixed message.  I'm so sorry for Blue Bird's loss of Littlebit,
but so happy that she has a new owner.  Purrs and welcome thoughts for
Shadow, purrs and sympathy on the loss of Littlebit.

I remember BlueBird well - she's always on my purr list. So was
LittleBit. I am *so* very sorry to hear about LittleBit. That is so very
sad.

I'm delighted to hear that BlueBird is doing better, though, and I'm
delighted to hear about Shadow!

That's so sad about LittleBit!  I hope that BlueBird's spirits are
picked up a bit by Shadow.

It's probably asking for a miracle, but I hope that someday BlueBird
can post again to the group, too.

I'll second that - I really miss BlueBird.

Purrs for the passing of LittleBit, and of course, continuing purrs for
Bluebird - she's not forgotten.

I'm very sorry to hear about Little Bit. Considering her medical
history, it's remarkable she lasted as long as she did. This says a lot
about the love and care she got from BlueBird. Another candle to be lit.

I'm sorry LittleBit is gone.  How devastating!

But I am so glad to hear she has a new little buddy.  I think that
is really important for her.

Aww, so sorry to hear about her LB's passing. Was it last year or the
year before that the vet pretty much gave up and said she'd be going
soon? And welcoming purrs on the way for little Shadow.

I'm not sure, but it was quite some time ago.  She had LB a lot longer than
she expected to.  I'll pass on your message when I can.  The last email I
had from her said she was having problems and requesting that no email be
sent to her until further notice.
