Today was a nervous day for me! Took Harri in to be spayed this morning,
and took Sammy in for what I thought was an upper respiratory infection
this afternoon. Got them both home about 6:00 PM then had to leave right
away to make a local delivery.
Harri's spay went fine with no complications. Sammy actually had a
really bad ear infection and will be on ear drops and oral antibiotics
for a while. Good timing - I go home for 3 days tomorrow.

Awww... poor Sammy. Basho says ear infections are not fun. He *hated*
the daily cleanings + medications. His was a yeast infection, so it was
a bit hard to treat.

T.K. has a yeast infection in his ears; we're putting Panalog in them
twice a day. He is not amused.

Glad to hear Harri did so well, and sending purrs for Sammy's ear
infection to clear up soon. And purrs to you, Dan, for the medication.

Glad to hear Harri's spay went fine. Poor Sammy - I used to get ear
infections all the time so I feel the pain.

OH dear poor Sammy! I'm glad however that that all is relatively well.

Oh dear, poor Sammy. Purrs, headbutts and healing thoughts for both
kitties and sympathy murmurs from our owners as well.

Purrs for them both! I'm scared of spay surgeries these days! Have an
enjoyable time home for your 3 days. :)

Way late (again) Dan, but we're glad to hear Harri's op went well and
sending purrs for Sammy's ear to clear up quickly.

It appears that Sammy's ear infection has been going on for a while
without him showing symptoms. After just two days of a antibiotics and
ear drops I'm seeing Sammy doing things that he hasn't done for a long
time. Things like jumping from coffee table to cabinet to covered litter
box, with his tail held high. The poor little guy must have been feeling
sickly for a long time (a couple months at least) before starting to
show symptoms.
But he is now acting like a kitten again. I'm delighted to see it!
This makes me all the more determined to find a local job that will get
me home every night.
