Last night, I was calling for Buster to come in, at bedtime. He
didn't, so I did what I normally do after I close the blinds - I watch
for a cat-shaped silhouette sitting on the air conditioner.
As I was making my last rounds, I see it. So I open the door, saying,
"Come on in, sweetie," but it isn't Buster.
It's Spot, aka Sir Richard. He still has on the hot pink collar that
his new slaves put on him. The collar is a little tight (he's grown
since they adopted him!), so I loosened it a little.
Spot let me skritch him for a minute or to, then wanted back down, so
he could go back home.
I also got to see Bubba Kitty, aka Miracle Kitty.
He and his owner came over yesterday, and he sat in my lap and
kneaded, purred, and mrrrped the whole time they were here. Little
Feet was not so much jealous, as he was curious about where Bubba
Kitty has been (Little Feet always insists on sniffing the feet of
anyone - cat or human - who has been outside). Okay, he was JUST
jealous enough to sit right up against me as long as Bubba Kitty was
in my lap.
I love times like these, when I get to see happy, healthy cats that I
have cared for, in their forever relationships.
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

That's so nice, it's good to see the result of all that hard work isn't it?

Mark, these are the golden moments for sure, when you've made a loving,
significant difference for a little life.
Bless you for all you've done for these kitties and all the others you help.

That's great Mark! I was thinking about Bubba Kitty just today too! He
really convinced me of the power of purr.

I've often wanted to ask about Bubba - if you see him any more, how
he's doing, etc. His story has GOT to be my favorite of all time!
I'm so glad he came by and that you wrote about his visit. Thanks a
million!

Just yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine and I told her the amazing
story about Bubba Kitty. I'm so glad to hear he is loved like he should be.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of all the kitties, Mark.
Best wishes,
