Well, He did poop some more today (though it didn't seem like there was a
lot of hair in it yet), he's perkier than last night and I found a *tiny*
bit of thrown up hair. But the best news was he ate almost all the tuna
water a/d gruel I put down just now which wasn't a lot (maybe an oz. of a/d
and a 1/4 cup tuna water) but about three times as much as earlier. He is
one sick kitty. Boy, after we get through this, he will receive laxatone
*regularly* and I will have to do a MUCH better job grooming everyday.
Tonight I am a little more hopeful that we won't have to resort to surgery.
You should see the xrays. Poor boy. I feel like a very bad Meowmie. We
aren't out of the woods, but there is a glimmer.

You're not. Who knows these things are happening?

I suspect in a day or so, you will be the recipient of at least a piece
of something that you will *not* believe actually came out of a cat. ;)
Keep forcing water/fluids and easily digestible foods.
Hugs, and hoping grant will do his job...

You are *NOT* a bad Meowmie - sometimes these things just happen and we
can't prevent them.
We're still purring that he gets better and gets rid of all that hair very
soon without resorting to surgery!

Sounds like a little good news. Hopefully you'll get a big chunk of
good news soon (how did I ever get to the point that I wish poop on a
friend???? Oh yeah, it was when we adopted a cat. Never mind. :-) )
Purrs for all of you. You are not a bad Meowmie. These things just
happen. Your babies are in good, loving hands with you.

Good for Grant. Keep it up! And you are not a bad Meowmy. Cats lick up
more hair no matter how many times you groom a day.
