Thanks for the purrs for Captain's leg. He's only favoring it a tiny, teeny
bit this evening. He's not only putting his weight on it, he's jumping for
toys and chasing/running from Stanley at will. There's still no sign of
swelling, broken skin, or any other problem that I can detect.
Whatever he did to himself last night during the marathon "Wrestle with my
Brother" game appears to be mostly a thing of the past. Which is a good
thing. I couldn't stand to see him limping around all sore-legged last
night, poor little guy.
Donna, and the kitties who alternate between bopping one another around
and grooming each other, Captain and Stanley
Glad to know it was only brotherly high spirits youthful energy and too
much rough play, Donna. =o) Kitties with broken legs are not fun!
By the way, Pan is nearly back to normal, although his right hind leg
is skinnier and stiffer than his left hind. But he's jumping up and
down, lying sitting and walking or running around just fine.

Great that both Captain and Panther are doing so well.

I kind of figured it was related to his roughhousing with his brother,
because there was no moment when it was apparent that he'd hurt himself --
no outcry, no obvious accident, etc. He was fine when I got home from
work, and after literally hours of chasing, being chased by, and wrestling
with Stanley, he came up a bit lame.

That's wonderful news! And I think his leg will improve with use... the
muscles should gradually return to normal and I would hope that at least
some of the stiffness will go away, as well.
He might get the weather report from his leg from now on, poor li'l guy.
Most of us here who've had an injury-related mishap can attest to knowing
in advance when rain is on the way, thanks to some aches in the
formerly-injured limb. But at least in my experience, the aches are just
an annoyance, rather than anything major.
I'm glad to hear that Pan is doing so much better. :o)
Donna, Captain who's favoring his leg a LOT less, and Stanley

My recommendation. Enjoy the heck out of these two. They sound like a lot
of fun.
And check them over fairly often for bumps that indicate a nip or a scratch
might want to turn into an abscess.
