Sugar creaks

I don't know where she creaks, but she seems to have a distinctive creaking
sound when she walks. It doesn't slow her down at all as she is as playful
as ever (just discovered an old mousie this morning and was running around
with it). Last night, I had to pick up the food bowl in the bedroom because
Grant was fasting. Everyone got up on the bed as usual, but Sugar always
then gets down and eats a few bits of kibble. She jumped down and I hear
"creak, creak, creak." pause "creak, creak, creak, creak". She paces around
the room looking for food. I felt horrible. Then she would come up on the
bed, purr REALLY loud, nibble at my fingers, and jump down. "creak, creak,
creak". She did finally settle down. I just came back from taking Grant in
again (he is SUCH a good boy. He doesn't even give me much fuss getting in
the carrier for the third day in a row.) and fed Sugar and Pearl. They are
much happier now. Especially Sugar.

Aw, poor Sugar - I know what it feels like to creak when you walk, getting
old sucks!

And Grant deserves extra pettin's and scritches for being such a good boy,
poor baby!

And you Karen, are you feeling better, is the cold letting up any?

Hugs,

Yes, it has finally gotten quite good. But we didn't get much sleep last
night so I feel wierd from that. But as long as we can get Grant well, it
will be worth it. hugs Back :)

Could it have anything to do with her claws.  I can hear the pitty-pat of
little cat feet when TuTu walks across the kitchen floor.   Purrs for all
to feel good soon.   MLB

No, it is definitely creaking and not clicking. We have carpeting
everywhere.

Oh, Karen, if it's not one thing, it's another. That does sound
worrying. Hope it passes by itself.

Well,  I'm not actually worried about it. SHe has creaked on and off for a
while and it appears to not be an actual problem. At least it does not seem
to limit her mobility at all and she exhibits no unhappiness about it. She
has a check up soon and I will mention it.

I creak all the time, and there's nothing -- well, not much! -- wrong with me.
