From James, Holly's DH (who couldn't connect to talkaboutpets.com
thismorning):

==========================================================================

I tried posting to the board this morning but could not make a connection
for some reason. Could you pass it on for me?

Holly is continuing to recover well, she had a nasty headache yesterday
afternoon and last night but that is gone now. I will tell you a funny story
though, Last night I was helping Holly take a wash up, the back of her head
was dirty so I was getting ready to wash it for her, So Holly says to me
"Now James you mind my soft spot back there I don't want brain damage" She
turned to me realizing what she said and we both rolled with laughter, we
laughed so hard the nurses came in to make sure everything was okay. It
reminded me of when my granddaughter was born and her mama was always
fussing about that soft spot.

Once again we are sending purrs for everyone that needs them.

And a thank you to all who have emailed Holly she really enjoys me reading
them to her.

I tried giving Pheniox baby food last night and she took a small bit, and I
had cooked myself some flounder last night and I can assume you can all
understand when I say I have no idea how it tasted but ask Pheniox, Sasha
and Isabella I am sure they will say it tasted great.

I also gave Pheniox the bath as Holly instructed, I was floored when she
just stood in the water and let me wash and cream rinse her. All I can say
is Holly has definitely spoiled this cat.

James

P.S. Holly was allowed out of bed yesterday and may get to get out some
today.

YAY!

Hugs,

You see?  That's why it's a good idea to socialize animals. ;)  My
little beast is spoiled abominably, but he's never stand still for
that. ;)

Great news about Holly-- hope she continues to recover well.

It is great to wake up to someone's good news!  Full speed ahead for
Holly.   As for  the cat -- not spoiled, but educated -- she sounds like
an "A" student.  Congrats!!!   MLB

Sounds like James and Holly both have a healthy sense of humor in a trying
situation. =o) I'm glad Pheniox will have a chance to visit with her
Meowmie!

Nina adores water, but I have strong doubts that she would just stand there
and allow herself to be bathed. =o) Of course, the only time I've ever
bathed a cat was when Isadora got motor oil on her fur, and I HAD to get the
stuff off.  For the rest, I'm content to let these little self cleaning
units handle the job. =o) Claw shredded arms are not my idea of fun.

Melissa
P.S

Deer Pheniox,  Im glad yoo will get to see yore Meowmie tomorrow! Protect
her from da Hopspital Greeblings!
