On tonights ep there was a song with the words "what else could I do, but
bring a blanket for you" and usually they say what music what used, but I
did not see it listed as usual. Anyone know the song or singer??

Can't help you, but I thought that was the most moving and beautiful
episode yet.

Try the JoA newsgroup:

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/alt.tv.joan-of-arcadia

For example:

group=alt.tv.joan-of-arcadia&q=music&qt_g=1&searchnow=Search+this+group

There's also quite a bit of Joan traffic on rec.arts.tv:

I found out what it was but it doesn't seem to have a recording available.
Grrrr. It is "What else Can I do?" by Canadian singer Karla Anderson.
However, though what little I can find says she recorded five songs, I can't
find any recording. New (ish) folk singer. So not much hope there. Oh well.

The song from that episode was "What Else Can I Do" by Karla Anderson, she
has released six songs but doesn't have and album.

her website is karlaanderson.com.  it says that mp3's will be available
soon, but I didn't find anything that said she has a cd available.

Oh cool. That wasn't even working before. She must beworking on the site
now. I heard elsewhere that she emailed someone who finally found her email
that she is releasing a full length CD in March. Must get it! Loved her
voice.
