He's coming home from hospital tomorrow.......whoo, whooo!
The cause of his problem isn't known yet (waiting for biopsy results)
but his kidneys are working again.
His wife sends thanks for all the purrs and prayers.

When I was in the hospital with (among other things) kidney failure,
they hadn't worked in a week. My doctor asked me to verify that I had
no religious preference and did not wish to be kept alive by
extraordinary means.
I replied in the affirmative and asked him why he was checking that
information. He said that if there was no improvement, I was expected
to die.
The next day, they started working again. Why didn't they just ask me
those questions sooner? <G>
Regards and Purrs,

nice to know Shirley's neighbouris recovering, but boy! you had a close call
didn't you,I didn't have a close call,but I kept telling the Dr that I was
*so*
tired and he wasn't listening, in the end I got mad and asked him to find
out
the reason, he took a blood test and when it came back, he held my hands
and said,' I'm afraid your kidneys have deteriated quite badly,' I was so
shocked all I could say was 'thats what my cat died of ' he decided to
see if it was one of the tablets causing it, lucky for me it was the first
one
he tried, a blood pressure one and my blood P had been fine anyway
they just put me on it because of my mild angina I was even madder and I
haven't taken a BP tablet since. Jean.P.
