Thank you all for the purrs and other positive vibrations.  My co-worker's
wife will be released from the hospital tomorrow.
She still has some weaknesses and cannot walk without support.  She is
mostly in a wheelchair. She will need home health care, but the doctors say
she has fought off the infection that nearly killed her, and the prognosis
is for a complete recovery in a few months.
This woman, by-the-way, is in her late 30s and is a teacher and coach.

Yay for the good news! Loud purrs and fervent purr-ayers are on the way for
her continuing recovery.
