Vino has a neighbourhood nemesis too. It's a white girl with a brown
tail, brown ear and a perfect brown circle on one side. We call her
Spot. Ohh, the nasty language that comes out of her mouth! Awful!
She likes to come up to the screen doors in the living room and yowl
at Vino and loll about rubbing herself on everything. With other
cats, Vino usually just crouches there and watches, but with Spot,
Vino gets mad and yowls back. Spot has even climbed up the side of
the house and hung onto the outside of the screened living room window
while yowling!
There is a new puppy down the road and she likes to come up to the
house too. She is deathly afraid of Vino and will run away when she
sees him through the window. She comes from the same direction as
Spot, so we think she might belong to Spot's people. She has
instilled the fear of cats in this puppy from early on!

Sandpaper kisses, a cuddle and a purr. I have an alarm clock that's
covered in fur!

Mischief - 10 Feb 2005 04:21 GMT
There was this black stray cat with a really cute, high pitched meow
that used to come by my apartment building. She would walk on the wall
outside my window and it would drive Mischief NUTS!!!! Mischief would
be growling and all poofed out, even though the window's shut too.
The cat doesn't come around anymore, at least that I can see. I bet
she still does but steers clear of the window. Every now and then
Mischief will perch on the sill in her little "meerkat" pose and give a
whiny meow, like she's trying to tell me that something's there.
