We went to see Sideways yesterday. It was a great movie, although I
really didn't like the personality of the main characters. There is one
piece of dialogue, when the main guy describes why he loves Pinot Noir
that is really, really good. Anyhow, it's a fun movie. I was looking at
the credits and I noticed an unusal entry: Editorial Cat and a one-word
name. I guess it was the editor's cat?

I thought it was hilarious. I saw it yesterday too. What is amazing is I can
see all of that happening even though it just got more and more outrageous.
I just REALLY enjoyed this show. Yeah, neither of the guys would be high on
my list of people to hang with, but they really were best friends (I was
with my best friend and we really had such a great time and of course had to
go out for dinner and wine afterwards.) I didn't see some of the credits
though. I usually watch them but people were in the way. What was it?

I saw "Sideways" on Saturday. I don't know if I'd call it "great", but
it definitely had its moments. We didn't care for most of the main
characters either, especially both of the male leads. Without getting
spoilerish, I think the viewer is supposed to feel sorry for the one
guy, but he did something near the beginning that was pretty
unforgiveable (or so we thought). "With friends like these..." sure
applied to the other guy!
Did you notice the other "crazy credit" (as IMDB calls them): "No
California oak trees were harmed during the making of this
production."
I missed the "Editorial Cat" credit, but looked it up on IMDB. Her
name is Lulu. I bet she had total control of all of the editors too!

Well, I felt both of them did pretty unforgivable things actually, but it
was a very interesting relationship. Maybe that's why I liked it better. But
I also felt it was just really well scripted and acted.

Yikes I meant, Maybe that's why I liked it better, because I was more
interested in watching the relationship than identifying with them (although
something about some of it seemed like my old college days.)
