Rufous has decided to emulate Basho and Issa, who love to ride on our shoulders. Basho and Issa have been doing it since they were kittens, and they're quite good at it. It helps to be wearing two layers, but they usually don't use their claws much. They wrap themselves around your neck and just hang there. Unfortunately for us, Rufous hasn't mastered the jumping part yet, he's more of a climber. With big paws and correspondingly big claws. My commiserations. Nikki sometimes suddenly decides to use me as her climbing tree, and I'm always completely unprepared for the sharp claws running up my back. [quoted text clipped - 5 lines] > > Pam S. giggling hard As I recall, my thought process was, Kevlar doesnt' seem very sexy (thinking of, say, a bullet-proof vest, or certain parts of my ski gloves), but mylar rhymes and seems slightly more appropriate for fun and games ... but then there are a lot of people with latex fetishes, and I think the spray-on bodysuits you can see on some, um, sites are actually latex ...
