Nanki-Poo is so sweet and loving, except when he has the zoomies, and then
it's fun to watch him or play with him.  In two months I'm going to
Australia for four weeks, and I'm already starting to feel guilty about
leaving him for so long.  I got him partly so Lindy wouldn't be alone when I
go away (The neighbor boy feeds my cats when I'm gone), and now it looks as
though Nanki-Poo needs company more than Lindy does.  She doesn't seem to
like him very much, although they do co-exist peacefully most of the time,
unless he decides to tease her.  Once they both shared my lap for a minute
or two.  They're usually both on my bed for at least part of the night,
although if Lindy gets there first, she usually hisses and yowls to tell him
he can't come up.  Lindy won't play with him, so I've been playing with him
some.  I'm going to miss them both so much, and now I'm worrying about them,
especially Nanki-Poo, missing me.  Lindy has survived several of my trips,
but this will be the first time I've left Nanki, and for so long!

I'm feeling like a bad meowmy.

Oh poor thing. I would hate to leave my 3 too expesially by Pheniox. Do
you have friends or family that could stay at your home with them?

Yea, its rough. I felt guilty and worried when I went to Florida last year. I
trusted the person who was going to look after her. Spicey was born in her
house and lived there her first 8 weeks. She visited her at my apt. She's going
to do it this year too. But still I missed and will miss Spicey.

I felt the same when I went to England for 6 weeks I left Henri RB
with a couple to stay in the house with him but I worried and fretted so
much my sister bought me a soft toy cat the size of a 6 month old kitten,
white
and fluffy like Henri, which meowed 3 times when you pressed it. My sister
died last Year, and Henri died in 2000, but I still have the cat to remind
me of them both.   Jean.P.
