Dear friends, I have decided to look for another job. I've been unhappy with my current one for a while now, and recent events have made me realize I don't want to work for that company anymore. So, I've updated my resume and I've already sent it to a company that has an opening for exactly the kind of job I would like to do. Any spare purrs would be most appreciated. Thanks! I really hope you get the job. I'm in a similar situation, but since I still haven't heard back from the ministry, I'm pretty sure I didn't get it. I've applied at another place now, too; the Finnish Academy, which is a government body that coordinates and funds research programmes. Holding thumbs for you and me (here in Scandinavia, we hold thumbs instead of crossing fingers). Spare purrs most welcome! As my dad likes to say, the best time to get a new job is when you already have one. Best of luck! Work is such a (not always by choice) big part of our lives that finding a spot where you will be happier is worth a lot.
