Morgan wants to thank you all for the purrs - he is feeling better tonight!
Vet thinks he had a bit of a tummy ache, but couldn't find anything else
wrong. He is eating now, but not as much as before. The vet says he should
be eating about 3 tbsps a day for his weight (6.8 oz), but not to worry if
it is a little less. Just as long as he is acting ok and going potty, he
should be fine. He was entertaining the dr by showing her how he could suck
his thumb - she had never seen a cat do this and thought it was adorable.

I will keep you posted on how he does!

Oh thank goodness!
Hey you might want to try my special IBK formula which has been very
successful. It may improve his appetite.
To one pint can of evaporated goat's milk I add one egg well-beaten with a
tbsp. of nutritional yeast and a tsp. of honey.
This makes enough to last a few days for a really tiny one. Just warm up a
little each time to fill the bottle.

Goats milk *is* supposed to be very digestable.

I'd be concerned about the safety. Honey can contain botulinus spores
that don't activate in human adults, but can grow and be extremely toxic
to human babies. Raw eggs may carry Salmonella food poisoning bacteria.

I guess they could... never was a problem for me. Barley malt can substitute
for the sweetener but would need a tbsp instead of a tsp because not as
sweet, and for egg there are good substitutes I just forget the names, one
is a whitish powder the other is yellow. Use both.
