Why is it that the camera is never handy when you need it? Memphis and
Phoenix have built in radar for when I load the dishwasher, so I usually
keep a very close eye on what they are up to at that time. I had been making
chocolate cake and had loaded the bowl and stuff into the dishwasher when
the phone rang. I hadn't a need to leave the kitchen as I have a phone in
there, so just turned to pick it up. In that short space of time, Phoenix
had upturned the chocolatey bowl and stuck his face in it. Picture the
scene, nice brown chocolate mix, add one smallish silvery kitten. He had it
all over his snout up to his eyes! Good job he doesn't object to being wiped
off! Meanwhile Memphis was obviously trying to decide which to go for, the
bowl or Phoenix!

You should be so lucky! I have two teenage sons and a husband with a sweet
tooth! (and are we even in the same country (UK)? I'll be lucky if there is
any left tomorow!

Nope, we are not in the same country. But the last time I had a piece of
cake was probably 2002... I'd make the flight!

LOL I'm not big on sweets. I think I have had some brownie mix in the
cupboard for 4 years and I don't even know why I bought it.

You're lucky. I'd be so much slimmer if I didn't have this danged sweet
tooth!

I've found a semi healthy way to get my chocolate fix. Silk brand Choc soy
milk. Doesn't sound good, but it is.

Chocolate is very bad for cats, and Stinky is drawn to it like a
magnet. Gotta watch him like a hawk when doing that kind of project.
He almost gave me a heart attack when he once opened the pantry,
pulled out the cocoa can, pried it open, spilled the cocoa out all
over the kitchen floor and rolled around in it. He was an instant
calico, and I was one frantic catmom.

The silly thing is that neither of them actually like chocolate anyway, he
just stuffed his face in it out of curiosity!
