They moved my neighbour to another hospital (one with a specialist
dialysis/kidney unit) last night and started him on dialysis. Ruby
called round tonight to let me know he's much brighter, not out of the
woods yet by a long way but improved. Yesterday he didn't recognise me
when he saw me, we've been neighbours for 20 years, and I don't think
he knew/understood where he was or what was happening. At one point
the doctors didn't think he had more than 30 mins to live and now (the
new doctors) are saying that there is a slim chance his kidneys may
start working again - quite a change huh!
The power of purr is a wondrous thing, keep it going - please :-)

We'll be purring hard here for your neighbour. Nikki is lying on the cat
tree beside my desk and rumbling away as I write.
