Sonya is still pregnant

Sonya is still waiting out her pregnancy.  She has taken up combat toe
attacks, except that she missed once and got Jim in the groin.  Anyone
else's feet are in grave danger.  Sonya isn't more than a kitten herself.

I however, seem to be living in a JEM inspired, strange fever induced,
dream world.  My face is numb and unreal feeling, my perspective of life
is strange, and everything I look at has this strange shadowing in
behind it.  My sinuses are draining in clumps and the cats are avoiding
me.  I think I need a hug.

Try some hot & sour soup. DH insists it's wonderful for sinus
clearing.

Anything spicy, really.  Green chili would work.   Mmmmmm ....

She, uh, missed his toe and hit his groin?  That's ... odd.

I would give you a hug if my arms could reach that far.  Feel better soon!

{{{Pam}}} Purrs that you feel better soon. I suppose I lost my bet, I
think I said Sonya would have her kittens on Tuesday.

Thank you all.  I'll let you revise your bets, if you wish.  I'm still
saying 6 kittens, but putting the date to next Sunday.

Feel-better purrs are on their way.

Purrs for you to feel better soon!

Also, I'll repeat a suggestion that was given to me here, when I reported
that Captain and Stanley came home with kennel cough. Have you got a
humidifier you can use? That'll help break up the congestion.

Or you can fill a soup bowl or a mug with boiling water, and inhale the
steam. I had a doctor suggest that when I was a kid, and I still remember
the advice.

Here are some extra purrs for Sonya's delivery to go smoothly, too.

yeah if she's still this frisky, then she's not going to have them
soon.  I would say Sunday/Monday, with 5 kittens.

From Annie, who's been there and done that last week.  I had forgotten how
miserable a cold can make a person, even with nurse cat Cinder doing her
best to make me all better.
Fortunately, it didn't linger too long.  Cinder has some extra virus killing
purrs and has offered to send them your way.

'Tis the season, I guess.  DH has been down for the count with a cold -- he
even stayed home from work one day, which he rarely does.

I have been mildly sniffly but am trying to give off immunity vibes to the
germs.  "Nope, nothing to see here, move along ..."

I do wonder: if you think you might be getting sick, is it better to avoid
exercise or to work out really hard?  It seems like I've had it go both ways;
sometimes a hard workout seems to chase away the impending nasties, but other
times it's done nothing ....

IMHO a good nap helps.  MLB
