Phoenix is back from the vets after getting snipped and chipped! He is fine
but drunk. Headed straight for his food bowl, so must be feeling reasonably
ok. Having difficulty keeping him apart from Memphis, who wants to play!
The trouble is, memphis just doesn't realise his own strength and could hurt
his  friend without meaning to. He obviously thinks Phoenix smells funny
too.
just taken a pic of Phoenix helping with the post. Will post on alt binaries

Boyfriend was like this.

Boyfriend did this too, after being starved from the day before.  He was
fine.  He licked the affected area for about 24 hours.  He had no stitches.
The vet who did it thinks the boys get over it better without them.

Boyfriend sends "you'll soon be fine" purrs for Phoenix.  He says this:
"Pheonix, I was very frited when my meowmie put me in a carrier and into the
moving thing.  I cried all da way, every minute.  Dat made meowmie feel bad.
Went to sleep, woke up, my bits were sore.  Not for long.
Meowmie came to get me.  I cry and cry all da way home.  Meowmie fink I in
awful pain and give me some salmon.  I larfed.
Get you meowmie to give you very nice food after you snip..  Tell her you
hurt a lot and she do it for defnat."

HIya, Phoenix! Captain and Stanley here! Boy, we're glad to hear it.

We hope the TED people kept their promise to you better than they kept
their promise to US. Our Meowmy was getting ready to adopt us, and we went
to see the TED at the shelter first. TED told us we were gonna get a new
turd. Now, we don't know WHY they were gonna give us that, since we can
make 'em in the litterbox any time we want. But OK, humans want to give us
a present, who are we to say no?

But when we went in the room with TED, we waited and waited and got so
bored waiting we fell asleep. When we woke up, we were back in the cage at
the shelter and there was no sign of any new turd or any other present.
Maybe TED forgot. But then our new Meowmy picked us up a couple days
later, and took us to our new home. We've had lotsa presents since then.

So anyway, if the TED forgot to give you your new turd, make your Meowmy
give you presents instead. Meowmy-presents are more fun, anyway. :3

Purrs,

Captain and Stanley

YAY!  Purrs for Phoenix' quick snip recovery and for Memphis to be gentle in
the meantime.
