Yes, the Bandages came off today!   Hopefully no more trips to the vet for a
good long time!  Pan is still not putting his full weight on the leg, but
I'm not worried, as Dr. McKenzie said to expect this for a week or two,
until he gets limbered up, again. The leg looks rather pitifully thin, and
is covered with old, skanky, sticky fur, and Pan seems rather offended that
it  is attached to HIM. =o)  He keeps looking at it as if to say  "Is this
thing really MINE??"  The leg is still very stiff, through being immobilized
for eight weeks, and I get to do some gentle physical therapy of helping Pan
flex the joints again, to get them loosened up and rebuilding the muscle
tone.  But the worst is over!

This is great news!  We're sending PT purrs and hoping Pan is

Yay, happy day. Give Panther a scritch from me (my sister had a black
cat with a white locket called Panther - he was Frank's father). Hope he
gets used to having his leg back soon. ;o)

Tee hee, his full name is actually Panther. =o) I'm afraid "Pandora"
would cause His Hairy Majesty to "give you the ear", Christine.  I,
however, am not offended.

I'm very happy to hear the news, it does take longer with an older cat.
