The couch ate Kumani

Yesterday we came home and couldn't find Kumani anywhere.  we called
and put out treats but no response.  No kitty in closet, no kitty in
cupboard, no kitty in drawers.  We listened closely and heard cries
inside the couch.  Somehow Kumani crept between the cushions and got
caught in the hide-a-bed.  We had to very carefully ease her out from
where she was stuck.

And now she wants back in the couch whenever she can, and we have to
police her from squirming back IN.  We're afraid she'l get trapped
again and suffocate herself... :/  any ideas?

Slip cover the whole darn thing. Cats!

I remember a friend telling me to put a fitted sheet upside down on my
box spring.  I thought it was silly at first, but then I decided I did
NOT need Imp crawling around in the box spring.
A slip cover might be good.

Or a sheet over the inner 'works' of the sofa bed under the cushions.

Jill (glad Persia isn't *that* curious)

Oh my. What an evil couch! Sorry, no ideas except to stop up the opening
somehow, if you can find where she wriggles inside.

Oh no!  That's funny, but it's not really; you know what I mean?  I don't
have any suggestions.  Meanwhile I'm trying to type with two kitties on my
lap and one is attacking my long hair.  I can never live without kitties.
:~)
