My little baby Frank, needy little Frank has killed something in the garage.
Not just killed it, he massacred it. I can't even tell what it was, but it is
much much bigger than a mouse. I can't clean this up. And I can clean up about
anything.
There are entrails strewn all over and blood everywhere.
He is just so sweet, he's the timid one that demands to be kissed on the head
at least 10 times a day and the one who "raised" Billy & Lilly. Frankie loves
kittens.
Really makes you think what lurks behind that sweet expression.

First go sprinkle some kitty litter over it to hide it and dry it out.

Go Frank.

I know what you mean.  My dog Puma (RB) apparently did this to possums when I
was a kid.  I say apparently, because my dad always ensured that there were no
traces left by the time I approached the scene of the crime.  Hard to imagine
sweet, loveable Puma doing something like that.  As you say, it makes you
wonder.  Good thing they love us!

And that we're a lot bigger than they are!

Wow. Who knew? Has he ever actually killed something before?

I don't think so. I think he's been hunting in tandem with Bootsie. They go out
together and stick together outside. She's teaching him bad habits.

Have that all the time, with Stinky, who has become a very proficient
mouser, at a pretty late stage of life.  He is the sweetest little
boogerhead you can imagine, even when he's in the actual process of
hunting or killing the mousie.  When my mom was a kid, she had a cat
who would never ket anyone get near her when she had a mouse-- she
would growl and run away.  Stinky always brings me the poor critter.
Mom wishes he *would* growl and run away.  ;)

Stinky always seems to emerge from those really wild, instinctive
moments, to acknowledge me and say "Hi Mommy!" if I happen to come
along.  It always melts me. ;)  My favorite thing is when he's in the
middle of stalking something, or when he smells an outside cat and
starts marching around yowling to "warn" the intruder that there's a
really BADASS CAT on the premises.  :P  If I walk into the room, he'll
often sort of veer towards me, stick his tail up in the air, and give
me a little headbump.  Then he'll return to his originally scheduled
behavior. ;)

Omygosh, poor meowmie!  You think there might be a little T-rex in Frank?
Purrs for a strong stomach.

My Punkin (referred to as Psycho Kitty in her prime), often left us
"surprises" on the kitchen floor to step on with bare feet.  Cold, wet
and slimy--Bleh!!   It was when we lived out in the country in CA and
there were LOTS of mice, but once she also brought me a blue-bellied
lizard.  It was fine...I don't think she quite knew what to do with
it!:)
